Description

Light, zesty, and delicious, this Lemon Stuffed Grilled Branzino recipe is a seafood classic! Filled with fresh lemon and herbs, it’s easy to grill and full of flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 whole fresh Branzino, cleaned and scaled
  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • 4 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare Branzino: Rinse the Branzino under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Season the inside of each fish with salt and pepper.
  2. Stuff the Fish: Stuff each Branzino with lemon slices, thyme sprigs, and minced garlic.
  3. Coat with Olive Oil: Brush the outside of the fish with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Grill the Fish: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Oil the grates to prevent sticking. Grill the fish for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the skin is crispy and the flesh is opaque.
  5. Serve: Remove the fish from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve with additional lemon slices and fresh herbs.

Notes

Ensure the grill is well-oiled to prevent the fish from sticking.

Let the fish rest for a few minutes after grilling to retain its juices.
